How it works

  1. 01Photograph a recipe from a book or magazine, or import a PDF. HobPad stores it and gives it a sensible name.

  2. 02Tap Create ingredient list. HobPad reads every page, merges repeated ingredients, converts into your preferred units where necessary, and can scale the quantities to how many you are cooking for.

Pricing

Notes, todo lists, recipe storage and recipe photography are free, without limits. HobPad names each photographed recipe automatically, up to 30 recipes per day; past that you simply type the name yourself, and there is no daily limit while you have purchased credits. Turning a recipe page into a shopping list uses one conversion credit the first time. HobPad remembers the result, so converting the same recipe again, at any quantity, is free. Every new install includes five free credits, and further credits are sold in packs inside the app. Credits never expire.
